Samia Saleem, Additional Secretary Mines & Minerals chaired a meeting with representative of GIS team of Directorate General Mines & Minerals regarding launching of Mining Cadaster System Portal. It was directed by the chair that working regading publication of portal for internal departmental protocols for handling of portal and integration of data, branch wise KPIs development to be completed at the earliest. It was further directed to fix timeline for the remaining tasks related to portal handling, training mechanism for the staff for launching of portal by 15th of February, 2021. The chair also directed to hold a weekly review meeting to oversee the progress on each activity.
