De-Notification of Skewed Rock Salt Policies- A Great Leap Forward to Earn Export Target of 13 Billion $ in 3-5 years- A First Time Initiative
56 persons/ entities were doled out approx. 100,000 acres of the precious Himalayan Rock Salt, in contravention of the terms & conditions without any open auction.
The incumbent Government de-notified the policy which had legalized the reckless largesse in flagrant violation of the Rules and the principles of propriety.
This action of incumbent Government will result in exports worth more than 13 billions dollars in next 3-5 years.
Additionally, this will stop haemorrhage of the most precious resource of the Punjab and will give extra benefits worth billions of dollars in the shape of provincial and federal taxes, employment generation and remarkable improvement of social economic indicators.
