Transformation of PUNJMIN from Loss-Making to Profitable Corporation- A First Time Initiative
PUNJMIN (Punjab Mineral Development Corporation) is the Public sector mining enterprise in Punjab.
PUNJMIN- as most of the public sector enterprises- was in loss in the past.
Due to Performance Review by the Department, PUNJMIN became a profitable organization (earned Rs. 460 millions profit) in just one year period.
Moreover, for the first time started returning loan obtained from the Government 48 years ago.
Tasked to: Start export of Pink Salt itself, Install own crusher, Establish model mines for Coal and Pink Salt, complete ERP, Rationalize Prices, Cost & HR etc.
